Training and Technical
Assistance
The Training and Technical Assistance division of
the The NYS Adolescent Services Resource Network is
responsible for providing on-site training and technical
assistance to public and private child welfare agencies
in New York State focused around issues related to
the provision of quality services to adolescents in
the foster care system.
As is mandated by the NYS OCFS, our work is currently
prioritized toward providing technical assistance
to agencies - including foster parents, social workers,
and child welfare workers on a wide range of issues
that relate to adolescents.
Our
staff - in collaboration with the New York State regional
and central offices of OCFS - provides individualized
assessments of needs, explores initiatives already
in place, and strategically works with child welfare
agencies to tailor our services to address and sustain
changes needed.
